Meditate for Better Sleep
March 22, 2023I’ve always envied people who put their heads down at night and fall asleep within minutes. For me, the room must be dark and quiet, the size and softness of the pillow are vital, and I like to have a window ajar. In more stressful times, even if I am tired in the evening, my thoughts often keep me awake. I worry about how tired and impatient I’ll be the next day, even though I know that this spiral of thoughts only delays my sleep.
Sleep plays a vital role in good health and well-being throughout our lives. How we feel when awake depends partly on what happens while we sleep. During sleep, our bodies work to support healthy brain function and maintain our physical well-being.
I’ve never taken sleep and sleep aids, I’ve always been afraid of the side effects and of getting addicted to them. At the end of a hard day, a walk, herbal tea, and meditation help me to calm down and tune into sleep.

I tried the SLEEP PRO functional drink three nights in a row. Here are my observations. I dared to try it because it’s not a sleeping pill you can get addicted to. As I mentioned, this is very important to me. SLEEP PRO promises a more restful, deeper sleep. It comes in liquid form, so if you have trouble swallowing, it’s easy to consume. Its liquid formula allows for faster absorption, with a noticeable effect after about 15-20 minutes. It is formulated with natural ingredients.
Let’s take a deeper look at the ingredients.
Magnesium Bisglycinate helps promote deep sleep and is a stress and tension reliever. Inositol gently soothes the nerves and calms them. L-tryptophan enables you to fall asleep and reduces the time it takes to fall asleep. GABA is an inhibitory neurotransmitter that reduces feelings of fear and anxiety. GABA is beneficial for many conditions such as depression, insomnia, and anxiety. Rhodiolarosea helps to calm you down at night, people in Russia and Scandinavian countries have used Rhodiola for centuries to treat anxiety, fatigue, and depression. And finally Ashwagandha root, the king of Ayurvedic herbs. Its consumption can reduce anxiety, and stress and promote restful sleep.
Personal experience
I drank SLEEP PRO half an hour before bedtime. The entire amount in the bottle should be consumed at once. The taste was a tad too sweet for me, but I was focused on the effects. I slept well all three nights, and although I didn’t fall asleep any faster than usual, I felt balanced and calm 20 minutes after drinking it. I woke up once during the three nights but fell back to sleep quickly. What was an interesting observation for me was that I felt more vigilant all subsequent mornings, even though I hadn’t slept more than my usual 6-7 hours.
When would I recommend it?
SLEEP PRO is not a sleep aid that helps you fall asleep faster, so anyone who thinks it is will be disappointed. However, you can expect a deeper, more restful sleep, as it helps with sleep flow and continuity. I would consume it after more stressful days when I know I’m going to have to be up and about the next day.
Everybody is unique, so this product will have a more noticeable effect on some and a less noticeable effect on others.
