FLYPRO – The Essential Companion for the Anxious Traveler
May 31, 202315 year old Nagy Botond Levente is a member of the Hungarian U16 national tennis team and Alfa Tennis School. He has been playing tennis for ten years and won his first international tennis tournament in Cyprus last autumn. In February they finished fifth in the team event at the European Youth Tennis Championships.

Boti’s love for tennis began when he was only five years old. He found his dad’s tennis racket at home and has been playing passionately ever since. While his peers spend hours daily gaming, Boti’s everyday life revolves around tennis and competitions. His perseverance has not been in vain as he continues to improve his results and climb the rankings. Meanwhile, he is also living the life of a 15-year-old high school student. Recently, he tried Basic Lab’s BRAINPRO functional drink, which he felt was beneficial in his game as well. Boti recently finished an intense period of competitions, which put a lot of strain on his body. His leg is still recovering, therefore he was able to take some time off from his busy schedule and chat with us about sports, learning, and BRAINPRO.
Despite his injuries, after our conversation, he will be heading to the gym because he’s determined not to miss out on the upper body training, so as not to lose too much of his stamina. When he’s fully healthy, he starts his day with an hour-and-a-half training session in the morning before school and continues with a second round from 5 to 8 p.m., where he runs, bikes, and weight trains in addition to tennis.
Basic Lab: How do you fit so much exercise into your school schedule?
Boti: I go to the elite sports class at Vörösmarty Mihály Gimnázium, where teachers understand that I often arrive late to school or have to miss school due to competitions. Everyone in the class plays sports and goes to at least four training sessions a week.
B.L: How much time do you have to study?
Boti: I usually get home by 3 pm at the latest and have to finish my homework before training begins. Sometimes I have to study on weekends, but I also try to rest.
B.L: What else do you have time for besides sports and studying?
Boti: I don’t have a lot of free time, but on weekends I go biking, which is my other passion.
B.L: Do you have a role model in tennis?
Boti: I don’t have a specific role model now, but I used to have Roger Federer.
B.L: What is your goal for this year?
Boti: I would like to move up on the ranking, get points and I could use an international sponsor.
B.L: What kind of sponsorships are you currently getting?
Boti: There is a German company, I get clothes from them, products from Basic Lab, but the goal would be to get a full contract, which includes clothes and shoes and all accessories.
B.L: You recently tried our BRAINPRO product. Can you tell us about the effects you feel, and what changes it has brought?
Boti: My mum brought me BRAINPRO, she knows Niki (head of research at Basic Lab) who recommended it for me to try. The first time I drank it was during training and I felt more focused. I was able to focus better on the tasks and felt less tired. My ball return is more accurate and I can also pay more attention to the ball position. Since then I always drink BRAINPRO before tournaments. I also drank it at the European Championships.
B.L: How long do you feel the effects?
Boti: 2-2,5 hours.
B.L: What else do you look out for in your diet?
Boti: I try to eat healthily, I consume vitamins, protein, complex carbohydrates, and I don’t eat one hour before training. If I do eat, it has to be something light so it won’t interfere with my active training.
B.L: You are very goal-oriented. Where would you like to see yourself in the future?
Boti: I definitely see myself in sports. I would like to play tennis professionally as an adult and get into the top 100. Luckily, I have my family’s support in everything.
B.L: We wish you good luck, perseverance, and a speedy recovery. We are proud that BRAINPRO has contributed to your success!
